What causes a broken leakage protector?

1. First of all, determine the leakage protector is good or bad as follows:


(1) press the test button to see if it can accurately, quickly and reliably action, if it can show that the leakage protector is good, if it can't show that the leakage protector is bad should be replaced in a timely manner.


(2) If the protector is connected to more circuits, you can only open the known normal operation of the circuit, to see whether the leakage insurance action, if not initially indicate that the leakage insurance is good, and vice versa, it is possible that the leakage insurance has been damaged.


(3) If you can not accurately determine, you can use the method of connecting the false load, the leakage protector of all loads disconnected connected to the false load without failure, if the leakage protector action can be determined that this leakage protector has been damaged, should be replaced leakage protector.


2. Reasons for leakage protection switch failure


On the one hand, caused by the leakage protector itself, on the other hand, is from the cause of the line.


The leakage protector labeled with the power side and load side must not be reversed. If reversed, it will cause the electronic earth leakage protector's stripping coil to be unable to disconnect with the power supply cutoff, so that it will be energized for a long time and burn out. When installing the earth leakage protector, the neutral wire and protection wire must be strictly distinguished. When using three-pole four-wire type and four-pole four-wire type earth leakage protector, the neutral wire should be connected to the earth leakage protector.


The neutral wire passing through the earth leakage protector shall not be used as the protection wire. The working zero wire shall not be repeatedly grounded on the load side of the earth leakage protector, otherwise the earth leakage protector cannot work properly. The branch circuit of the leakage protector, its working zero line can only be used as the zero line of this circuit, it is forbidden to connect with other circuits working zero line, and other lines or equipments can not borrow the working zero line of the lines or equipments which have been used after the leakage protector.


First of all, first check the circuit and electrical appliances below the protector, disconnect the protector output line protector is normal, such as normal should be indoor wiring and electrical appliances have leakage faults, it is best to find a professional electrician repair.


3. If the replacement of leakage protection is still tripped in the case can not quickly determine the point of failure to check the steps are as follows:


(1) first check the main line of the circuit, all the branches are thrown off, with a megohmmeter to shake the insulation. In the confirmation of just leakage faults and is not too serious direct power will not cause adverse effects under the premise of direct power supply experiment.


(2) to determine the main circuit is not a problem after checking the various branches of the line checking method as above


(3) to find out the fault branch, the branch line of the load to be eliminated one by one.


(4) Finally find out the fault point to repair the power supply test run.
